He was predeceased by: his father Ralph "Bucket" Stapleton; and his brother-in-law Tommy Hutson. He is survived by: his wife Donna Stapleton; his mother Peggy Stapleton; his children, TJ Stapleton, Jacob Robinson (Trista), Sarah Stapleton and Nichole Patterson; his grandchildren, Tre Stapleton, Kaiden, Krista Collins (Joey Collins), Christopher Downey and Kylah Robinson; his siblings, Kim Trent (Mike) and Johnny Stapleton; and his extended family, Cathi Hutson, Loretta Amyx (Glen) and Brain Gulley (Catherine).
