She is survived by: her friend Christian; her children, Cynthia McDowell Thacker (late Will Junior Thacker) of Knoxville, Tennessee, Tresa McDowell Jones (Jeff) of Nashville, Tennessee, Kyle McDowell, Jr. (Tammy) of LaFollette, Tennessee and Joseph McDowell (Melinda); her grandchildren, Joshua Bradley McDowell of Jacksboro, Tennessee, Lindsey Morgan McDowell of LaFollette and Bethany Autumn McDowell of Nashville; and her siblings, Faye Carroll Jones (Billy Joe), Lois Carroll Brown, Aslee Carroll Miracle (Danny), Mary Carroll Murphy (Mack), Dora Carroll Cook, Eva Carroll Holt, Becky Carroll Jones (Danny), Randle Carroll and Bill Carroll (Sylvia). She is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and countless special friends.
