We are sad to announce that on October 21, 2021, at the age of 97, Volene Godwin of Rossville, Tennessee, born in Hackleburg, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Doc Baker and Effie Baker; and her husband Charles Godwin. She is survived by: her brother Jim Baker; her children, Pamela Minion (Chris), Patricia Gibson (Drew) and Philip Godwin (Janet); and her grandchildren, Andrew Gibson, Jason Minion (Kirsti), Jon Minion (Rachel), Charlie Gibson (Ashley), Joel Minion (Renee), Tatiana Santacruz, Andres Caipa (Sarah) and Joshua Godwin. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews.
