It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Clayton of Rossville, Tennessee, born in Collierville, Tennessee, who passed away on June 24, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Anderson Clayton and Annie Mildred Strong Clayton; and his brothers, James Earl Clayton and Jerry Clayton. He is survived by: his wife Laverne Shearin Clayton; his son Clay Clayton (Diana) of Rossville; his siblings, Dorothy Jean Hopkins of Collierville and Joe Clayton (Nell) of Collierville; his grandsons, Matthew Clayton (Gracie) of Rossville and Jacob Clayton of Rossville; and his great grandchild Lainie Gaspar.
