Gola is survived by: children, Carolyn Franklin, Alander Benton, Gloria Tines (Bobby), Bobby Bledsoe (Reverend Jeffery), Mason, Annie Tines (William George) and Harris Lee Benton (Teresa); siblings, Anna Gant, Azelea, Lotta Lewis (Lattie), Willison and Roosevelt Jones; and sisters-in-law, Mae Willie Jones and Ida B. Lewis. Gola is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty- five great grandchildren.
