She was predeceased by: her mother Lillian Hoard; her siblings, Kenneth, Hoard and Unav Self; her niece Darlene Collier; her great-nephews, Duane and Brian; and her son-in-law Eddie Adams.
She is survived by: her children, Reed Matney (Regina) and Deborah Matney Adams; her granddaughters, Scarlett Valentine (Chase) of Knoxville and Abby Garcevic (Eddie) of Jonesborough; her great grandchildren, Meredith, Evelyn, Franklin, Ruby and Sylvia; her stepgrandchildren, Jennifer A. Garcia of Knoxville, David, Adam, Drake and Bella; and her friend Pynthia Spears. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
