It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Erwin Phillips of Rogersville, Tennessee, who passed away on January 20, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Oscar Phillips, Jr. and Ruth Erwin Phillips; and his sister Alice Phillips Headland. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Davis Phillips; his son William E. Phillips II; his daughter-in-law Erika; his grandsons, Will and Mac; his siblings, Ruth Phillips Bayer and James Oscar Phillips III (Julie); and his sister-in-law Lavenia Davis Wynn (Robert). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
