He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Smith and Ruth Davis Smith; and his brothers, Charles and Wayne Smith. He is survived by: his wife Vada Smith; and his siblings, Bobby Joe Smith of Church Hill, Jesse L. Smith of Rogersville and Diane Miller (Aaron) of Myrtle Beach, SC.
