She was predeceased by: her sister Lucille Thomas; her parents, Joseph Thomas and Virginia Thomas; and her cousin Mabel Widener. She is survived by: her husband Charlie Freeman; her children, Rhonda Chess (Dean) and Chuck Freeman (Tonya) of South Carolina; her grandchildren, David Clifford (Kelly), Candace Mitchell (Scott), Gabrielle Groft (Elias), Talia Clifford, Dacy Freeman and Dixon Freeman; and her sisters, Margaret Thomas and Doris Thomas. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
