She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Bishop and Della Bishop; and her brothers, A. T. Bishop and David Bishop. She is survived by: her children, Tammy Addis (Robert) of Rogersville, Lisa Steele of Kingsport, Jody Martin (Roger) of Rogersville, Kim Hawk (Tim) of Rogersville and Joe Sexton (Becky); her siblings, Mary Bishop of Charleston, SC and Everett Bishop (Wanda) of Bluefield, WV; and her close friend Harold Laber. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 4 great great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Christian Sells Funeral Home (1520 E Main St, Rogersville, TN 37857). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A procession was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:15 AM at the Cemetery Are Asked. A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Highland Cemetery (899 E Main St, Rogersville, TN 37857).
