He was predeceased by: his parents, Drew Harrell and Mintie Harrell; his grandson Raymond Troy Harrell; and his siblings, Thelma, Normie, Kenneth and Virgil Harrell.

He is survived by: his wife Merle Harrell; his son Brian Troy Harrell; his daughter-in-law Angie Long Harrell; his granddaughters, Aerial, Alexandria, Adriana and Arran; and his friends, Gary Hicks Jr. "Bub", Kelsie Price and David West.
