It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sylvia Sue Lewis of Rogersville, Tennessee, who passed away on April 3, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Judge Jim Miner and Velma Miner; her former husband Martin Arkus Sr.; her husband John Lewis; her daughter Mary Anne Arkus; and her siblings, Phillip Miner and Patricia Miner.
She is survived by: her children, Martin Arkus Jr. and Martha Wagner (Warren); her grandchildren, Jadyn Arkus, Tyler Wagner (Meg) and Caleb (Beverly); and her great grandchild Clara Wagner.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Christian Sells Funeral Home (1520 E Main St, Rogersville, TN 37857). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Highland Cemetery (899 E Main St, Rogersville, TN 37857).
