With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephen Douglas Pearson (Rogersville, Tennessee), who passed away on November 24, 2021 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Lurlene Pearson (Davis) and William Cornelius Pearson, Jr.; his son Andrew Tyler Pearson of Persia; and his grandparents, Lawrence Chism Davis of Wartburg, William Cornelius Pearson, Sr. of Persia, Sarai Elizabeth Pearson (Berry) of Persia and Katherine Beatrice Davis (Price) of Rogersville.
He is survived by: his son Samuel James Pearson of Knoxville; his siblings, William Cornelius III (Julia) of Rogersville, Carolyn Adelaide Copeland of Rogersville, David Kevin (Karen) of Rogersville and Darran Eric (Lola) of Rogersville; and his friends, Ronnie Presley and Bill Justis. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
He was a member of Persia Baptist Church and attended regularly up until the time of his declining health and Covid.
