It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Mullins Helton of Rogersville, Tennessee, who passed away on January 1, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Helton Sr.; her parents, William Herman and Charlotte Opal Mullins (Stratton); and her siblings, Inez Edens of Rogersville, Woodrow of Rogersville, Faye Shaw of Rogersville, Junior of Rogersville and Ronnie (Moon) of Rogersville.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Helton Jr. (Shirley) of Rogersville and Connie Alvis (Jim) of Rogersville; her grandchildren, Jess Helton (Heather), Rev. Eric Helton (Brianna), LeAnn Lipe (Elder Travis Lipe) and Julie Alvis; her great grandchildren, Isaac Helton (Cora Dart), Luke Helton, Leah Lipe, Damien Alvis, Abram Helton, Elijah Helton, Gentry Thacker and Jacob Helton; and her sisters-in-law, Lynn Mullins and Sharon Mullins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Christian Sells Funeral Home (1520 E Main St, Rogersville, TN 37857). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Christian-Sells Funeral Home (1520 E Main St, Rogersville, TN 37857). A graveside service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at the Hawkins County Memorial Gardens (536 Carters Valley Loop, Rogersville, TN 37857).
