She was predeceased by: her parents, Roger O. Wells and Evelyn Kenner Wells; and her siblings, Linda Wells, Charles "Sonny" Wells and Michael Wells.

She is survived by: her son Scotty Angel; her granddaughter Ashleigh Angel; and her sisters, Barbara Underwood of Atlanta, GA and Deborah Howard of Anderson, SC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
