He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Henry and Mabel Ruth Epps Lipe. He is survived by: his wife Lois Bell Lipe; his daughter Felicia (Jason); his granddaughter Amelia Belle Dobson of Arlington, VA; and his brother Charles Lipe of Rogersville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
