She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie Mae Hicks and Ora Hicks; her husband Norman Jeter; her daughter Joann Bowman; her siblings, Thomas Hicks (Rose) and Edith Jeter (Herman); her stepsons, Butch Jeter and Larry Norman Jeter, Jr.; her son Gary Butler (Kathy); her stepson Gary Jeter; her grandchildren, Scottie Mallett, Melissa Butler and Mark Butler; her great grandchildren, Amber Mallett, Cheyanne Mallett and Gavin Butler; and her great great grandchild Khelani Mallett.
