It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Franklin Menzel of Rogersville, Tennessee, who passed away on April 4, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary "Hammer" Menzel of Texas; and his parents, Alfred Menzel and Jesse Menzel of Iowa. He is survived by: his sons, Roger Allen Menzel (Betsi) and Ralph Wayne Menzel; his grandchildren, Linda Menzel, Dan Menzel, Chaz Menzel, Brea Lane and Summer Barnett; his great grandchildren, Liam Baker, Elyza Lane and Addie Grissom; and his siblings, Linda Bowdin, Richard Menzel and Bob Menzel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
