He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harrell Beets and Irene Beets; his wife Marty; his sister Barbara Combs (Bill); his children, Jason DeBord (Joni), Julie Carter (Jake), David Beets (Brandy) and Ellen McMillan (Evan); his grandchildren, Gray DeBord (Emma), Tess DeBord (Barrett), Jack Carter, Kate Carter, Ethan Earl, Logan Earl, Asher Beets, Nora McMillan and Emma McMillan; and his son Alex.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bridge Church (2243 E Main St, Rogersville, TN 37857). A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
