He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Kendall Brickell; and his parents, Herschel Brickell and Lillian Brickell. He is survived by: his children, Shanna Obelenus, Dawn Brickell Bryant (Chris), Sean Brickell (April) and Michael Brickell; his grandchildren, Joshua Obelenus, Tristan Brickell, Brynn Brickell, Trinity Brickell and Austin Brickell; his brother-in-law Don Kendall; his cousins, Jay Brickell and Marlene Nicholson; and his brother Don Broome. He is also survived by his sons and son-in-law.
