He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Banks Jr. and Jennie L. Banks. He is survived by: his children, Kris Koehler (Sarah) of Kingsport, TN and Brittany Banks of Mooresburg, TN; his grandchildren, Sophia, Mason and Addaylnn; and his siblings, Deborah Henderson (Herbert) of Wake Forest, NC, Curtis Banks III (Teresa) of Rogersville, TN, Bryan Banks (Karen) of Conyers, GA, David Banks of Rogersville and Virginia Blevins (family: Sharon, Merida) of Nashville, TN. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Russell's Chapel AME Zion Church (307 N Hasson St, Rogersville, TN 37857).
