We bid farewell to Penny Lynn Woods of Rogersville, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 25, 2025 at the age of 60. Penny touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Tommy Ray and Virginia Gann; her former husbands, Michael Alexander and Jerry Woods; and her parents-in-law, R. D. and Mary Alexander.

She is survived by: her son Matthew Alexander; her sisters, Cindy McBee and Mary Carpenter; her nieces and nephews, Rocky McBee (Brandy), Sonny Farrow, Chasity Bailey and Terronda Paschall (Chad); and her aunt Carolyn Ann West.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Westside Chapel Funeral Home, Inc. (3521 W Andrew Johnson Hwy, Morristown, TN 37814). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Buffalo Grove Cemetery.
