He was predeceased by: his parents, William Knopp and Ruth Ward Knopp; and his sister Rosemary Smith. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Knopp; his children, Pamela Knopp Howe (Allen) of Rogersville and Eric Knopp (Kristen) of Zephyrhills, FL; his grandchildren, Alex, Ethan Howe, Alicia Norris, Brittany Smith of Elizabeth Knopp, R. J, Bice and Eric Howe; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Austin, Ben, Mayes, Jesse James, Braxton, Tristen, Olivia, Gabriel and Jaelynn; and his siblings, Ellen Manwaring (Bruce) of Oswego, NY, George Knopp of Oswego, NY, Tim Knopp (Sandra) of Oswego, NY and William "Bill" Knopp of Altamonte Springs, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Henry Catholic Church (114 TN-70, Rogersville, TN 37857). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
