She was predeceased by: her husband Harry "Mark" Beal; her son Gary Roger Beal; her parents, John Dykes and Nora Langford Dykes; and her siblings, Calvin, Fred, Henry Dykes and Mable Johnson.
She is survived by: her grandson Roger Beal (Katherine); her great grandchild Michael Beal; her daughter-in-law Brenda Beal; and her sister Virginia Gipson of Elizabethton. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
