He was predeceased by: his son Shane Eric Johnson; his parents, Neal Edgar and Marie Larkins, Sr.; his brothers, James Larkins, Dennis Larkins, Randall Larkins and Ruben Larkins; and his brother-in-law Jerry Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Iva "Ivy" Trent Larkins; his children, Michael Larkins of Surgoinsville, Shannon Trent (Tennibell) of Bean Stations and Chasity Smith (Keith); his sisters, Faye Johnson of Church Hill and Teresa Brumett (James) of Church Hill; his grandchildren, Nate Hale, Issac Hale, Taylor Smith, Logan Smith and Cody Smith; and his niece Toshia Hale. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
