She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Benton; her parents, Doris Margaret Lawson and Joe Kyle Lawson; her siblings, Lorrine Glover and Tommy Joe Lawson; her son Jody Lee Smith; and her grandson Carl Lee Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Ilene Skelton (Tony) and Keith Smith (Chasity); her sisters, Lillian Johnson and Shirley Parrott; and her grandson Roy Gibson. She is also survived by several grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
