He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Andrew and Benita Elliot Spears, Sr.; and also Charles Andrew Spears, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Courtney Coffey (Brandon) of Lexington, Shanna Major of Kingsport, Jessica Phipps of Fluvanna, Melanie Fetterhoff of Bristol and Michael Fetterhoff (Lauren DeJoy) of Colorado; and his siblings, Linda Thompson of Rogersville, Shirley May of Rogersville, Roy Spears of Rogersville, Joe Spears of Rogersville and Richard Spears of Fredricksburg. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
