He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice H. Greer, Sr. and Helen Louise Hagood Greer; and his siblings, Phyllis Ann Greer Price and Jimmy Greer. He is survived by: his wife Connie Newman Greer; his sons, Maurice Greer III (Sharon) of Johnson City, Shawn Hatchett (Penny) of Rogersville, Tony Hatchett (Sandy) of Rogersville and Darrin Hatchett (Jennifer) of Rogersville; and his brother Robert Greer (Helen) of Rogersville. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
