We bid farewell to Margie Light Ramey of Rogersville, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 17, 2025 at the age of 84. Margie Light touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Jim Ramey; and her siblings, Bertha Goad, Nellie Smith, Joyce Light, Geneva Light, Clara Dykes, Kathleen Simpson, Chester, Reece, Rosevelt and Garfield Light.
She is survived by: her son J. W. Ramey (C. J.); and her grandchildren, Jamie, Sammy, Haylee, Kayle, Cody and Brian. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes - Kingsport (117 E Charlemont Ave, Kingsport, TN 37660). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bowser Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Cedar Chapel F.W.B. Church, Rogersville.
