She was predeceased by: her husband Chester McLain; her parents, Joseph Horton and Ilene Horton; and her siblings, Emery Horton, Curtis Horton, Artie Mae, Goldie Horton and Helen Lawson.
She is survived by: her nephew Perry Dykes (Regina); her nieces, Hayden and Riley Dykes; and her cousin Reece Bailey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148.
