She was predeceased by: her parents, Mack Smith and Lolita Smith; her granddaughter Katie Rose Barrett; her siblings, Dennis Smith and Rita Faye Smith; her parents-in-law, Betty Burchfield and Jerry Burchfield; and her brother-in-law Mikey Barrett.
She is survived by: her husband Dee Barrett; her sons, Jason Barrett (Sarah), Adam Barrett (Kristal Wagner) and Travis Barrett; her grandchildren, Cameron Barrett, Lexi Barrett, Makenzie Barrett, Emily Barrett and Nathan Barrett; her sister Angel Smith; her son Christopher Bean; her brothers, Michael Smith (Penny) and Randy Smith; her father-in-law Dewey Barrett; and her siblings-in-law, Phillip Barrett (Shelly), Greg Barrett, Karla Delph (Larry) and Frankie Thacker (Rick). She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Christian Sells Funeral Home (1520 E Main St, Rogersville, TN 37857). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Friendly View Baptist Church (1001 W Dittmar Rd, Austin, TX 78745).
