She was predeceased by: her parents, James L. Byrd and Natley M. Byrd; her stepmother Dovie Byrd; and her siblings, June Bass, Jimmy Byrd, Emory Byrd, Eugene Byrd and Ronald Byrd.
She is survived by: her husband Mack Burns; her sons, Terry Burns (Sue), Eddie Burns and Randy Burns; her siblings-in-law, Philip Burns, Hope Byrd and Barbara Byrd; and her grandson Logan Sowders. She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Shepard's Chapel Baptist Church.
