He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dan Anderson and Gladys Anderson (Hensley); his pet Blackie; his significant other Jolynn Anderson (Stapleton); his brother Danny Anderson; his children, Jennifer Michel and Christy Dorton; his sons-in-law, Donnie Michel and Harley Dorton; his grandchildren, Charity Winegar (Lucas Price), Grace Bond (Shawn Bond), Drew Michel, Gracey Jo and Deagan; his sister Debbie (Anderson); his brother-in-law Lynn Manis; his sister Charlotte (Stapleton); and his brother-in-law Elmo Dodson. He was also cherished by nieces, great nieces and nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
