He is survived by: his wife Dorthy Thacker; his son Jeff Simpson (April); his stepson Ricky Evans; and his siblings, Mack (Frances) of Morristown, TN, Roy of Blum, Texas, Mary Bucolo of Morristown, Violet Corbett (Ray) of Morristown and Pearl Bolling of Morristown. He is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
