He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Parrott, Sr. and Nora; his parents-in-law, Barlow Price and Loraine; his grandson Joshua Bullington; his brother-in-law Larry Livesay; and his grandparents, Barnett, Mattie Parrott, Billy and Maude Marcum.
He is survived by: his wife Kathie Parrott; his children, Jeremy Parrott (Heather) and Lori Smith (Greg); his grandchildren, Drew, John Paxton Parrott, Aiden, Kara, Landon and Joseph Smith; his brother Larry Parrott (Jeanie); and his sister-in-law Beckie Livesay. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
