We bid farewell to John Edwin Gardner of Rogersville, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 12, 2024 at the age of 84. John Edwin touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Alma Jean Gardner; his parents, Mack Gardner and Nannie Gardner; and his brother Elmer Gardner. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Robbie Lawson, Connie Lawson, Linda Bass and Lisa Carter; his siblings, Ladell Winter, Hubert Gardner and Glenn Gardner; and his caregivers, Rhonda Holder, Debbie Stapleton, Sandi Gardner, Marie Osborne and Dwight Berry.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Christian Sells Funeral Home (1520 E Main St, Rogersville, TN 37857). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Chestnut Grove Cemetery (185 Riley Rd, Sneedville, TN 37869).
