He was predeceased by: his parents, George Tunnell and Ruby Kite Tunnell. He is survived by: his wife Mary Williamson Tunnell; his children, Mary Jane Green (Keith) of Rogersville, James Tunnell (Rachel) of Maryville, Anthony Tunnell (Melissa) of Rogersville and John Tunnell (Teresa) of Rogersville; and his sister Jane Byrd of Adkins, VA. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
