He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Pappy" Jr. and Margaret B. "Nannie" Gladson; his brother David Alan Gladson; and his brothers-in-law, Randall Kenner, Billy Joe Thomas and Edd Floyd.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda M. Gladson; his children, Forrest Gladson (Lauren) and Ashley Jones (Casey); his granddaughters, Tinsley, Landry and Atley Gladson; his sisters, Barbara Kenner and Sarah Floyd; his siblings-in-law, Joyce Thomas, Dottie Mayes and Bill Mayes; and his aunt Shirley Brooks Price. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
