It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Junior Holt of Rogersville, Tennessee, who passed away on December 18, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Jimmy Martin Holt; his father Edgar Holt, Sr. (Cecil Hill Holt); and his siblings, Robert Holt, A. J. Holt and Ruby Armstrong.
He is survived by: his wife Cecile Burton Holt; his daughters, Melinda Miller (David) of Rogersville and Amanda Hames (Mark) of Granite Falls, NC; his grandchildren, Taylor Miller, Kayla Pitman (Joel), Logan Phillips, Tyler Hames (Heather), Angel Holt, Tiffany Smith (Chris) and April Holt; his daughter-in-law Paula Holt; his siblings, Nancy Holt, Velma Gladwell and Junior Holt; and his sister-in-law Frances Holt. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
