He is survived by: his wife Irene Hickman; his children, Karen Stanley (Kenny) of Princeton, Kelly Hall of Wilson, NC, Kevin Hickman (Erin) of Valencia, CA and James Hickman, Jr. (Dawn) of Clayton, NC; and his sister Jamie Hanson (Gregg) of Melbourne, FL.. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
