He was predeceased by: his parents, Omar Edwards and Mary Sue Edwards; his wife Lillian Edwards; and his siblings, Mary Jones and David Edwards.
He is survived by: his children, Terri Edwards Cinnamon (Milton) and Jimmy Edwards; his grandsons, John T. Edwards, Cole Edward Cinnamon and Nolan Dale Cinnamon; and his parents-in-law, Mary Stout and Don Kits (Beverly). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
