He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Alice Absher; his parents, Evan Absher and Ethel Absher; and his siblings, Mildred Elkins and Raymond Absher.
He is survived by: his daughters, Regina Russell (Rusty) of Rogersville and Jamie Dinsmore (Dan) of Asheboro, NC; his grandchildren, Regan Seaver (Matt) of Mt. Juliet, TN, Rylynn Bordeau (Trystan) of Knoxville, TN, Rogan Russell of Rogersville, William Dinsmore of Richmond, VA and Evan; and his great grandchild Nora Seaver. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Shephard's Chapel Baptist Church or the Hawkins County EMS.
