He was predeceased by: his parents, William Homer "Cobe" and Cora Louise Mayo Knox; his sister Ruby Knox Burton; his brother-in-law Rev. Gene Burton; his nephews, David Burton and Greg Burton; and his daughter-in-law Julie Hoffman Knox.
He is survived by: his wife Vickie Mayo Knox; his son Tony Knox; and his granddaughter Lynsey Rae Knox of Rogersville.
