It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gregory Greer of Rogersville, Tennessee, who passed away on January 10, 2025, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Bart, Lena Greer, Jim and Evelyn Ferrell; and his uncles, Jimmie Ferrell and Edsel "Boots" Greer.
He is survived by: his parents, Lonnie Greer and Barbara Greer; his children, Cody Greer (Ricki Lyn) and Courtney Manis (Dillon); his brother Troy Greer (Renae); his grandchildren, Hadley Greer, Hudson Greer, Laively Manis and Baby Manis; his nephews, Justin Greer (Ali) and Jace Greer (Lexi); his niece Jera Greer; his great-niece Ellie Grace Greer; his close friend Melanie Winegar; and also, Isaac and Isabella. He is also survived by several uncles, aunts, cousins, coworkers, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Christian Sells Funeral Home (1520 E Main St, Rogersville, TN 37857). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hawkins County Memorial Gardens (536 Carters Valley Loop, Rogersville, TN 37857).
