He was predeceased by: his parents, John P. Stewart and Mable Stewart; his sisters, Dorothy Greene and Betty Jo Farmer (G. C.); and his parent-in-law Geraline Hurd.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Hurd Stewart; his son Craig Alan Stewart (Robin); his stepgranddaughters, Brittany McMahan (Shane) and Roxanna Burton; his granddaughters, Lilly Coffman, Ariah McMahan and Kaylen Burton; his sister Nancy Heck (Gene); and his brothers-in-law, Mike Hurd (Patti) and Bob Hurd (Glenda). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to Hickory Cove Baptist Church.
