George L. Brooks Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George L. Brooks of Rogersville, Tennessee, who passed away on April 9, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gabriel Brooks and Lida Mae Wright Brooks; his siblings, Alma, Kathleen Brooks, Mack and Robert Brooks; and his daughter-in-law Shelia Henegar Brooks.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Perry Brooks; his sons, Danny L. Brooks (Sheila) of Rogersville and Thomas Brooks (Regina) of Rogersville; his grandchildren, Alison Smith (Jason), Alissa, Andrea Brooks, Joshua Brooks (Hope) and Adam Brooks (Mikala); his great grandchildren, Malachi, Nehemiah, Ezra and Maisie Brooks; and his caregivers, Tina, Julie and Crystal. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Broome Funeral Home Chapel (513 E Main St, Rogersville, TN 37857). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
