She was predeceased by: her parents, William Carter and Sylvia Carter; her sister Carolyn Waites; her brother-in-law Troy Waites; and her niece Elizabeth Waites.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Williams, Sherry King (Leslie) and Jimmy Dale Sexton (Teresa); her sister Mary Love Stanifer (Lloyd); and her close friend Scott Bewley. She is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
