He was predeceased by: his parents, Park Linkous and Sarah Jane Lipe Linkous; his daughter Janice Linkous Brooks; his grandchildren, Devon Roberson and Jayrin Tunnell; and his sister Beatrice Linkous.
He is survived by: his son Jeff Linkous (Rhonda); his stepdaughters, Amanda Daggett and Bobbie Graham; his significant other Amanda Helton (Adam); his sister Jean Linkous Pace; and also Ellen Garber. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
