He was predeceased by: his parent Margaret Hawkins; and his friend Charles "Chili" Saunders. He is survived by: his wife Judy C. Hawkins; his daughters, Stacy L. Mayes (James, LeAnn Lawson) and Andrea Paige Hawkins (Isaac); his grandsons, Tyler, Luke, Chandler Mayes, Ethan, Nathan Lawson and Billy Coffey; and his stepgrandson Bodie.
