He is survived by: his son Chad Phillip Barrett of Kingsport; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Kendle Barrett, Tristan and Riley Ferrell; the mother of his child Libby Minton; his stepson David Berkley of Kingsport; his mother Nettie "Ettia Mae" Rodefer (Robert Long); his sister Kristie McLain (Nathan) of Surgoinsville; his niece Felicia Tennant; and his nephew Andrew Wallen. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
